Electricity!

So a few days ago, our electricity went off in our house!  There was a big storm and the power went out at 5:30 am.  (It didn't come back on until 3:45 pm).  Let me just say, it was most refreshing to not have power for a day.  My siblings, Hannah and John, as well as myself enjoyed a day of being "Amish".  We declared ourselves Amish in the morning, and the fun didn't stop all day long!  We climbed trees in the backyard (okay John climbed a tree and we supported him), we played outside with lawn equipment, and we drove around downtown OP (okay so maybe that's not so Amish).  It was really nice to not have any distractions, all we had was each other for entertainment, and that was totally okay with us!  I wish we didn't have power more often!

Today, I am headed off to camp!  I can't wait, because the environment and electricity there are incredible!!  I have an amazing opportunity to be surrounded by people with the most genuine and loving hearts, to serve the Lord by loving his children, and to learn and grow with those around me as we push on towards "the goal of the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus".  I cannot wait to go and learn what is in store for me!  I think I will have 15 year olds for the first session (some of my girls from last summer hopefully) and I will request 7 year olds for the second session.  I.  Cannot. Wait.

I will see you all in five weeks!
Until then, enjoy your electricity and live your life with electricity!!!!
